1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Elixir Fuse ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Elixir Fuse is a browser-based PDF tool suite that allows you to merge, split, rotate, compress, encrypt, decrypt, watermark, and convert PDF files. All document processing occurs entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly. No files are uploaded to any server.

3. Use License

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Elixir Fuse for personal and commercial purposes. You may use the tool to process your own documents or documents you have authorization to modify. This license does not grant you ownership of the tool, its code, or any associated intellectual property.

4. Limitations

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Elixir Technologies does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected

In no event shall Elixir Technologies be liable for any data loss, corruption, or damages arising from the use of this Service. Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your original files.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not use the Service to process documents you do not have the right to modify
• Maintain your own backups of original files before processing
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Not use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity

6. Intellectual Property

The Elixir Fuse tool, its source code, design, branding, logos, and all associated materials are the property of Elixir Technologies. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to our design. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data.

8. Modifications

Elixir Technologies reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
